These terms cover two things: using this website, and what happens when you order POS software from us. Where a written quote says something different from a page here, the quote wins.
Updated 3 November 2026Governing law: PakistanWebsite use and software orders
01
The short version
Five lines that carry most of these terms.
The quote is the deal
These terms fill the gaps. Your written quote sets the scope, price and payment for your job.
You buy a licence, not us
You get the right to run the quoted modules in your business. The code stays ours.
Your data stays yours
It lives on your machine or your chosen server. We do not hold your sales ledger unless a backup job is in the quote.
One working day
Support issues raised by phone or WhatsApp get a reply within one working day.
Liability is capped
Where we are responsible, the limit is the amount you paid for the affected software.
02
Using this website
The site is free to read. Please use it the way you would use a shop counter.
Read, share, linkSend a page to your partner or accountant. Links to any page are welcome.
Use your own detailsWhen you fill a form, give contact information that reaches you.
No flooding the formsBulk or automated submissions are limited by the server and are a misuse of the site.
No copying the pages as your ownThe text, screens and logo are ours. Do not republish them as your own offer.
03
How an order starts
No order exists until both sides have agreed a written quote. This is the usual path.
TalkYou call, WhatsApp or send the form. We ask what you run and how big it is.
DemoA free demo on the module you need, using sample items or your own data.
Written quoteWe set out the modules, the counters or tables or rooms covered, the price and the payment terms.
AgreementYou accept the quote and the agreed advance is paid. Nothing is installed before this point.
Setup and trainingWe install on your machine or server, load your items and train your staff.
SupportAfter go-live you reach us on the same number whenever something looks wrong.
04
What you buy
A package price covers four things for the modules named in your quote.
The licence
The right to run the quoted modules in your business, on the machines covered by the quote.
Setup
Installation, items and rates loaded, printers paired, user logins created, the layout shaped to your counters or tables.
Training
Your cashiers and manager are shown the screens they will actually use, until they can close a day without help.
Support
Help with faults and usage questions on the agreed contacts, within one working day.
05
What is not included
These sit outside a package price unless your quote lists them. We will always tell you which side a line item falls on before setup.
Internet and hostingYour line, your router, any hosting plan for a cloud setup.
Windows and licencesOperating system and third-party licences for your machines.
Accounting and filingYour NTN or STRN registration, monthly filings, audits and any penalties. That is your consultant's work.
Extra branchesA second shop or a new module is a fresh scope and a fresh quote.
Damage outside our workPower surges, viruses from other software, staff deleting data, or a failed drive.
Buying hardware together
Many customers ask us to source the counter PC and printer as well. We can do that, and it will appear as a separate line in your quote so you can see exactly what the software cost and what the equipment cost.
06
Price and payment
One-time price
Our packages are bought once for the scope quoted. There is no hidden monthly charge on the licence itself.
Advance, then balance
The usual pattern is an advance to book the setup date and the balance on completion, as written in your quote.
Currency
Pakistani Rupees. Figures exclude any tax, duty or bank charge that applies to your purchase.
Add-ons priced separately
FBR integration, an extra counter, a second branch or a custom report is quoted on its own so nothing is assumed.
We will never ask you to send money to an account that is not named in your written quote. If anyone claims to be us and asks for an urgent transfer, call 0371-6245556 and confirm before paying.
07
Where the licence applies
The licence is for your business, at the setup you were quoted.
Scope is counted.Counters for a shop, tables for a restaurant, rooms for a hotel, doctor slots for a token system. Adding one later means telling us, and we quote the difference.
One business, one licence. A second branch or a second company needs its own licence, even if it is family-owned.
The code remains ours. You buy the right to use it. Ownership, and the right to improve and re-release the software, stays with INVOX POS SYSTEM.
No resale or redistribution. Do not sell, lend, sub-license, copy for another shop, or reverse-engineer the software, and do not remove our name or the FBR markings from a screen or a receipt.
Training data is ours too. Item lists you build with us are yours; the program that reads them is not.
08
Your side of it
A POS works best when a few simple habits are in place.
One login per personShared logins make a stock difference impossible to trace.
Close the day dailyA nightly close is where shortages and mistakes surface while they are small.
Keep your backupsThe backup feature writes files on your machine. Store a copy somewhere other than that machine.
Tell us what changedNew items, new rates, a new counter — say so early and the reports stay trustworthy.
09
Your data and backups
Your sales ledger belongs to you and it lives where you decided it would live.
On-premise setup
The database and the backup files sit on your own computer or server. We see them only when you ask us to fix something and share them.
Cloud or hybrid setup
Data sits on the hosting named in your quote. Where that hosting is a third party, their terms and their uptime apply.
Remote support
If you allow remote access so we can fix a screen, that access is for the job in hand. We do not keep a standing door into your machine.
Backups
The software writes a nightly backup, and you are responsible for keeping a copy that survives the machine failing. Ask us and we will show you where the files land.
If a drive ever dies
We can rebuild the software in an hour. Rebuilding twelve months of sales needs a backup. Test a restore once before you need it — it takes ten minutes and we will sit with you while you do it.
10
Support and response time
Included support
Faults in the software, questions about a screen, and help reading a report that looks odd.
Response
Within one working day on 0371-6245556 or posinvox@gmail.com. A message sent late at night is answered the next working day.
On-site help
Travel for on-site visits outside the quoted setup is arranged and costed when it comes up, not guessed at now.
Not support
Fixing a broken Windows install, a dead printer, a virus from other software or your own accounting decisions.
11
Updates
Corrections to the version you were given are part of the job — if a bug in our code is causing your problem, fixing it is not a chargeable extra. New features, larger version changes and work driven by a rule change in your business are scoped and quoted when you want them.
We will never push a change that rewrites your own item data or your settings without telling you first.
12
Refunds and cancelling
Setup and training are delivered on the day, so a finished job cannot be unwound the way a boxed product can be returned. Because of that:
Before setup begins — tell us and we stop. What is refunded and when is decided from what has already been spent on your scope, and it is confirmed in writing.
During setup — if something we supplied genuinely does not work as shown in the demo, we correct it first. A refund conversation starts after we have had a real chance to fix it.
After go-live — faults are handled under support and updates. Refund requests at this stage are considered case by case and only settled in writing.
Demos are free — nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.
The honest way to protect yourself
Ask for a demo on your own items before you pay anything, and make your quote list the screens you actually need. A customer who sees their real shop on the screen before ordering rarely ends up in a refund conversation.
13
Fair use of the software
The POS is built to record real sales. It must not be used to invent them.
No false invoices. Do not use the software to issue bills for goods or services that were not supplied, or to help anyone avoid tax.
Your filings are yours. We provide the records and the summaries; you and your consultant are responsible for what is filed and when.
Keep it lawful. Using the software in a way that breaks Pakistani law ends the licence.
14
Liability
Both sides need a fair limit, not an open-ended one.
Our limit
Where we are responsible for a loss, it is capped at the amount you paid for the software or service that caused it.
What is excluded
Indirect losses such as missed sales, lost profit or a shut counter caused by hardware failure, power, internet, your own entries or third-party software.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here stops you raising a genuine complaint — call us first, because most problems are fixed in one conversation.
15
Changes and governing law
We may update this page as the products change; the date at the top shows when. Your order, however, is governed by the terms and the quote in force on the day you accepted it — we will not change the rules under a live job.
These terms are read under the law of Pakistan. If a clause here is ever found unenforceable, the rest of the page still stands.
